Which? Best Mobility Scooters Features 3 CareCo Products

July 14, 2022 -
Best Mobility Scooter Feature 2022 & 2023

At CareCo we have been working hard over the years to bring you what we believe to be the best mobility scooters at a great price, and all our hard work and dedication has finally paid off, as this month Which? declared not one, not two, but three CareCo products in their "Best mobility scooters" list, which was published in July 2022, and updated in summer 2023.

"The best mobility scooters are thoughtfully designed, comfortable, easy to control and smooth to drive" - Which?

The three CareCo scooters listed in the Which? Best Mobility Scooters page are:

All mobility scooters were tested for the same key features:

  • Ease of set up, disassembly, and portability
  • Comfort, adjustment and charging
  • Driving experience

Here's a brief overview of their decisions for each mobility scooter:

Best Buy: Abilize Stride Sport

Which? gave its verdict for the Abilize Stride Sport based on its "Smooth, controlled and comfortable ride indoors and outdoors, handles slopes, hill starts and vibration well, easy to set up and adjust, collapses down easily and should fit in the car boot"

"The best collapsible Class 2 scooter we tested" - Which?

CareCo AirLite X - Performs "Superbly"

The AirLiteX Travel Mobility Scooter was noted by Which? for being a budget model, and praised for its performance on slopes and with hill starts. Which? said that "it had no trouble powering its way up and over the steepest 25% incline in our tests, and it easily managed a hill start".

"Handles slopes and hill starts superbly"  - Which?

I-Go Vertex Sport - "comfortable ride"

The third of our models to make it to the Which? best buy guide is the I-Go Vertex Sport. Which? was impressed with its smooth and controlled, comfortable ride, and how easily it collapses down for transporting in a car boot. Other features Which? liked on the Vertex Sport was the back support on the chair, and the amount of padding on the armrests and handlebars, which all help to make a much more comfortable ride.

"Smooth and controlled indoors, comfortable ride" - Which?

Which? is one of the most trusted product review companies in the UK, so it is a great privilege to see our scooters featured on their prestigious "Best Buy" pages. Hopefully next time round Which? will get a chance to test one of our lithium mobility scooters, which have much lighter batteries and longer ranges, or one of our larger road legal models, which we believe provide the best value comfort and safety when driving on roads.
