6-8mph Road Scooters

6-8mph road mobility scooters provide long-distance travel. Class 3 road-legal models comply with British Government requirements for scooters with efficient braking systems, a maximum speed of 8mph, front and rear lights and reflectors, direction indicators and hazard warning lights, a horn, and rear view mirrors.

Our 6-8mph scooters are designed solely for use by disabled people, so you'll find them fitted with ultra-comfortable padded swivel captain’s seats and flip-up armrests for easy and safe transfers. Adjustable delta tiller bars are also fitted to 6-8mph mobility scooters to make them easy to control, even if you only have the use of one hand due to illness, disability or injury. They feature suspension systems to protect you from bumpy roads and have hard-wearing pneumatic tyres. Many 6-8mph mobility scooters include a high-low speed switch on the tiller bar, which lets you effortlessly change from a pavement speed limit of 4mph to a road legal speed of 8mph. They offer the longest travel range - some of our scooters can travel 30 miles on a single charge! As these mobility scooters can be driven on the road, they must be registered with the DVLA.
