CareCo is now officially a Which? Trusted Trader! This is a huge achievement for us, and we couldn’t be prouder. Our rigorous assessment was carried out in November of 2024 by one of Trading Standards professionals, who put us through our paces to check that we meet their high standards.
But what does that actually mean for you, our customers, and why should you care?
Who are Which? Trusted Trader?
Which? is a not-for-profit organisation that’s been looking out for everyday people for decades, helping consumers make smarter choices, challenging unfair practices, and making sure businesses play fair. It’s the UK’s largest consumer body, and it’s 100% independent.
Their coveted Trusted Trader scheme is a way of giving a big thumbs up to the businesses that actually put the customer first.
What’s the big deal about being a Which? Trusted Trader?
Being a Which? Trusted Trader means that we’ve passed a rigorous assessment process, proving that we’re reliable, trustworthy, and committed to top-quality service across the board.
This endorsement is all done to give you peace of mind. When you see that Which? Trusted Trader logo, you know you’re dealing with a company that’s committed to a Code of Conduct for treating customers properly.
How did CareCo become a Which? Trusted Trader
They don’t hand it out to just anybody! We had to undergo a thorough evaluation by Trading Standards professionals, and here’s what they looked at:
- Business procedures: Ensuring our processes are ethical, efficient, and customer-friendly.
- Credit history check: Making sure we’re financially stable and responsible.
- Customer satisfaction: They wanted to know what you think of us, so they analysed our customer feedback and reviews.
- Face-to-face assessment: A proper sit-down with one of their trading standards professionals to scrutinise how we operate.
After all that, we got the good news! This means that we are now approved for our Home Installation, Servicing and Repairs services.
What are the criteria to become a Which? Trusted Trader?
Which? don’t just skim through references and glance at a few certificates. Nope, they go for the whole kit and caboodle.
We’re now signed up to their Code of Conduct, which sets out responsibilities, conduct and ethics for us to follow across our entire business.
We’ve also agreed to continuous assessments, to make sure that we’re still doing what we say we do when it comes to installation, servicing and repairs.
