What is a Which? Trusted Trader
Trusted Trader is a scheme by Which?, the UK’s largest independent consumer body in the UK, designed to help consumers find reputable traders for whatever they need, from home improvement to motor industries and Which? Trusted Trader mobility retailers. The aim is to raise the standard of the trade industry for consumers all over the UK, with a rigorous assessment carried out by Trading Standards professionals to ensure specific standards are met. It’s not something they hand out to just anybody!
What’s involved in the endorsement process?
To be endorsed as a Which? Trusted Trader, we’ve undergone a rigorous assessment by Trading Standards professionals to ensure we meet the high standards required. Customer satisfaction checks are carried out to ensure we consistently deliver a high-quality service. A credit check was used to confirm our financial stability, and we’ve committed to a code of conduct written by Which? themselves. A detailed examination of our contracts and quotes was carried out to ensure they are fair and transparent, as well as a close inspection of our business procedures to check that they align with best practices.
