Update: CareCo has partnered with Lloyds Pharmacy to provide mobility equipment and independent living products direct to their customers - see their new CareCo Independent Living pages.
Today we heard some major and unsettling news in the mobility aids industry - Betterlife Healthcare, a part of Lloyds Pharmacy, has just ceased online trading. They are no longer selling "high ticket" items such as mobility scooters, riser chairs and wheelchairs, but are still selling smaller Betterlife products through the Lloyds Pharmacy shops.
Many of our customers have also shopped at Betterlife Healthcare and we are familiar with their product ranges. We cannot help with any warranty issues that you may have, but we are more than happy to assist with upgrading any of your Betterlife products with one of our mobility scooters, wheelchairs, bath lifts, adjustable beds or other daily living aids.
All our large products come with free doorstep delivery and warranty, and we offer an engineered delivery option too, which is ideal if you are unable to unpack, assemble and carry chairs, scooters and other large products yourself.
It was only 5 years ago that the first Betterlife store was opened by LloydsPharmacy in Leeds. The closure of their shops and the website will affect many people with mobility needs, which is why CareCo is keen to help their past customers. Betterlife has stopped trading, but CareCo provide the same range of mobility and daily living care products and we're here to help.
