Transit wheelchairs differ from self-propelled wheelchairs in a few key ways, and the suitability of a transit chair depends very much on your expected use. With smaller wheels and lighter frames, transit wheelchairs are best suited to short distance travel with the aid of an attendant.

And some parts of the wheelchair, like the footrests, can also be adjusted to help you find the most comfortable setup.
