The Compact Lite is a triumph of clever design, a chair you can take anywhere, and one that still offers everything you need in terms of safety and comfort. The nylon seat is soft and comfortable while providing plenty of support, and the armrests have padding as thick as you’ll find on much bulkier chairs. Meanwhile, attendant-operated brakes and puncture-proof tyres ensure safe and trouble-free mobility.

If you need a little help getting around, it shouldn’t prevent you from going where you like, when you like with your carer or your loved ones. The Compact Lite has been designed with this philosophy firmly in mind. It collapses into a parcel that fits neatly into its own carry bag and won't take up too much boot space in the car. Also, at just 11kg (24lb) lifting it in and out won’t present a problem.
Strength and stability assured
Lightweight does not mean flimsy or fragile. The Compact Lite is made from high quality aluminium and will carry a passenger weighing up to 115kg (18 stone). The larger rear wheels are treaded for better grip on more challenging outdoor terrain, and the chair features independent brakes that the attendant can operate from handle-mounted levers for extra safety and complete control. Travel anywhere with confidence!
Restricted storage space not a problem
We don’t all have lots of spare storage space, and if you've downsized or moved into sheltered accommodation, you might think you haven't got room for a wheelchair - especially if you only use it occasionally.
