The Volar 10 Transit Wheelchair comes with a 10-year warranty on the frame and is tested to the standards of ISO 7176, specifying requirements for static, impact and fatigue strength. It’s a vote of confidence from us, so that you can stay on the move with peace of mind! That goes for your attendant, too. The cushioned handles will fit comfortably in their hands, while the handbrakes bring the wheelchair to a safe stop if needed and the lightweight frame is easy to manoeuvre over high thresholds, steps and kerbs.

With its half-folding lightweight frame and removable leg rests, the transit version of the Volar 10 transforms into a compact package that’s as useful for stowing on public transport as it is for storage at home. In its lightest form, the 17” version of this wheelchair weighs just 7.7kg and the 19” version just 7.9kg, making this the lightest transit wheelchair available in the UK.
