The light and compact nature of the Lynx 4 belies a wheelchair that is packed full of features to ensure your safety and stability. These include a high quality aluminium frame that offers aerospace-level strength, a lap belt that ensures even the most vulnerable users remain secure, swing away footrests to provide the best possible access and brakes on each wheel that can lock the chair into place when necessary.
Access anywhere, at home or away
The Lynx 4 is both compact and manoeuvrable, an ideal combination if you need to access tight spots and confined spaces. It comes in particularly handy if you need to use it around the house in a crowded kitchen or bathroom. However, it also means that when you are out and about in town, even the smallest shops are accessible to you without any need to leave the chair outside and to take any risks on your feet.
Attendant features taken as standard
The nature of a transit wheelchair is that you need a carer or attendant to push it. The Lynx 4’s designers always kept this in mind, and the result is a chair that’s as comfortable to use for the attendant as it is for the rider. These include comfortable rubber grips on the handles and easily accessed brakes to lock the rear wheels. Best of all are puncture-proof tyres - no need to go searching for that bike pump!
