You get a lighter carry weight (just 6.6kg with the cushions, leg rests and wheels removed), but you don’t sacrifice strength or stability. The Edge Transit Wheelchair can still safely support up to 120kg of body weight, and it will soak up the stress of everyday travel without the usual bumps and jolts.

The Edge Transit Wheelchair uses a double-cross frame that folds to just 320mm wide in a couple of swift movements, making it much easier to store in a car boot or the luggage rack on public transport. It’s more convenient for your attendant, too, thanks to the cushioned handles, easy-squeeze brakes and stepper tubes at the rear.
