Stay Dry This Autumn With The Abilize Kondor Cabin Scooter - Rain Proof Mobility

February 09, 2018 -
Abilize Kondor conditions

The British weather is variable at best and that can make it difficult to prepare your scooter for the day's conditions. If you head out on a dry morning it could be raining by lunch time. Fortunately, the Abilize Kondor has been built to make this dilemma a thing of the past with a wealth of exceptionally clever features.

An Enclosed Cabin to Protect Against the Weather Conditions

Abilize Kondor Cabin Scooter conditionsAt first glance you could be forgiven for thinking the Kondor was a city car, not a mobility scooter, thanks to its fully enclose cabin. Fitted with full windows, doors, and roof you’ll be protected from even the most severe of downpours and a heater keeps you toasty during cold snaps.

Additionally, the materials are fully rust proof to prevent deterioration over time and there’s a windscreen wiper to keep you view clear. The Kondor isn’t only suited to the wet and cold conditions, however.

There are also features that make it perfect for those rare sunny days. The windows on the side of the door can be slid open to provide ventilation and on a warm day, and the doors can be removed altogether to let breeze pass right through during the hottest conditions. So, if you’re confident the sun is going to shine all day long you can set the Kondor up accordingly.

Perfect for Long Journeys

Of course, the Abilize Kondor Cabin Scooter isn’t only about tackling weather conditions, its also the ideal scooter for longer trips. The 100Ah batteries can provide a range of 27 miles, meaning you won’t need to stick to the town centre when out and about.

You can also charge these batteries separately from the scooter, so you won’t have to find a socket with enough space to park the scooter nearby, just detach the battery a charge indoors. However, the Kondor isn’t only about getting you there, it’s about getting you there in comfort and safety.

Interior features such as a well-padded captain’s chair and delta tiller ensure a comfortable driving position, plus a USB slot is provided to keep your devices charged. But this only accounts for part the Kondor’s exceptional comfort. The full suspension system is where the comfort is really taken to the next level. This allows the scooter to react and iron out the potholes and bumps that pepper roads and pavements, ensuring you have a smooth journey.

If your day out happens to continue past sunset then there also features to keep you safe. There are mirrors, headlights, and brake lights to make sure you have excellent visibility, while also being visible to others. Additionally, the brake lights are connected to a set of electro magnetic brakes to make sure you can stop in a quick but controlled manner.

For additional safety, the top speed of the Kondor is 6.2mph - due to the weight and construction of the Abilize Kondor,  the speed is limited to ensure that the unit cannot tip over when cornering.

If you’re looking for a mobility scooter that can handle any conditions you thrown at it the Abilize Kondor makes no compromises when it comes to being perfect for the job.
