The speed and range of the RS8 are backed up by genuine capability, so you will feel confident wherever the road might take you. The 12-inch wheels use treaded pneumatic tyres that provide a softer ride for more comfort and are grippy enough to handle uneven terrain. The scooter also boasts all round suspension, anti-tip technology, 2.6” ground clearance and a powerful motor that can handle gradients of up to 10%.
Packed with useful safety features
The RS8 has all the safety features needed to qualify it for road use - and more besides! These include electro-mechanical brakes that bring it to a halt effectively and with minimal effort, a rear-view mirror, a powerful LED lamp, indicators, hazard lights and brake lights. It's been designed solely for use by disabled people, so all the controls and switches are conveniently positioned and the large buttons are easy to operate, even if you have arthritis or limited use of both hands.

When you are using your scooter for a longer journey at higher speeds, it’s even more important that it soaks up the bumps and jolts. The RS8 really pushes the boat out here, installing the latest suspension technology front and rear, as well as a seat that’s so luxurious you’ll want to stay in it all day. The adjustable delta tiller bar adds to the comfort, especially for disabled people with limited mobility and strength.
If you plan to drive your mobility scooter on the road you must register it with the DVLA by completing a V55 form.
