Vega RS8This is one of the best mobility scooters I've ever owned! The battery life is amazing! I travelled miles, and miles on it before I even had to charge it, it certainly goes the distance. It's great at handling inclines, and goes up hills with ease. The basket on the front didn't feel as secure as I'd like as the hooks are quite short, so I just attached a cable tie around the back and it's completely safe now, there's no chance of it falling off! My only criticism is that the brochure said 'height adjustable armrests', and they're not! I spoke to the product support team and this is going to be taken out of the brochure as it's misleading. The way I got around it, was to use a cushion to make me a little bit higher, so it was more comfortable to rest my arms. Just to add, the turn on this scooter isn't great, on my last scooter I could do an almost 90 degree turn, but this scooter is limited with it's turning range, although I'm thinking this could be a safety feature, due to it being 8mph. However, I would still highly recommend this scooter, I really am very, very impressed with it!Strengths Battery life, ability to cope with inclines with ease, and comfy seat.Weaknesses Arm rests are very high! Not great for a smaller person. Turning range is limited, those 3 point turns are extended now!

Just what I neededI got to the point recently that using a WZAV taxi was the only option for me, so I needed to get a suitable scooter for the journey and for work. After a trip to my local CareCo shop I decided this would fit the bill. I have used it now both on the road and in a WAV taxi and it suits both very well.
