Smaller, lighter and quicker to charge than standard batteries, the 30.15Ah lithium battery fitted in the Aethos SLE reduces the overall weight of the scooter without compromising on performance. Even the way you charge has been redesigned, with a tiller charging port available for quick and easy top-ups, as well as on and off board charging directly to the battery.
A lighter touch of luxury
With its completely redesigned seat, suspension and a delta tiller bar, the Aethos SLE turns up the dial to maximum comfort. The seat is contoured in all the right places and upholstered in premium breathable fabric. And like the frame itself, it manages to be lightweight without compromising on comfort. The suspension system protects you from potholed pavements and rugged terrain, while the delta tiller bar keeps you in control even if you’ve got limited hand strength. It’s a rare scooter that packs in features like that and still manages to weigh in at less than 45 kg fully assembled, but you’ll find it all on the Aethos.
The ethos of smart design
The Abilize Aethos SLE Travel Mobility Scooter uses the latest tech to make your every day that much easier. The concept and final design for the scooter was developed in the UK, with siginificant investment into the tooling also coming from the UK, so you can be sure of the quality of the build. The backlit touch screen puts all the controls at your fingertips. The smart armrests slide forwards and backwards, swing down for easy transfers and adjust to a comfortable height. It looks smart, too. The Aethos features updated alloys for a stylish touch, extra shrouding on the tiller bar and a choice of Aqua Green and Deep Bronze metallic finishes.
