Pavement Scooters

Pavement mobility scooters are great for short trips out and about, whether you’re off to the shops, running a few errands or visiting friends. With a maximum speed of 4mph, a pavement mobility scooter will get you from A to B quickly, safely and comfortably. They often have comfortable, padded captain’s seats, with flip-up armrests and a swivel design that helps with awkward transfers on and off the scooter.

Pavement scooters cannot travel on roads, but some models are fitted with suspension systems to reduce the force of impact as you travel over rough and uneven paths. While they do offer more features than portable mobility scooters, pavement scooters are still very easy to use. With lower speeds than a road mobility scooter and compact, narrow designs, they do very well in busy areas like supermarkets and high streets. Pavement scooters have long larger battery life travel distances of up to 20 miles. Pavement scooters can only be driven on pavements and footpaths.
