There are few better ways to relax and rejuvenate than getting outside on a sunny day, but if you are a little less steady on your feet these days, you might feel anxious about venturing out. There comes a time in our lives that we all need a little extra support, and while a simple walking stick is the obvious choice if you are mostly walking around the house or along pavements, if you are planning to walk in the countryside, on the beach or even take to the hills, then you need something a little more advanced. This is where the SureWalk walking stick comes into its own. The SureWalk is a folding walking stick with 4 ferrules on a pivoting base that provides superior support. When you place the stick down the base will pivot so that all four feet take hold on the ground. As soon as this happens the stick will support your weight if you are slightly off-balance and help you to steady yourself - and there is far less risk of the stick slipping from under you. The SureWalk is a little like a tripod walking stick, but unlike a tripod stick the feet automatically level themselves on the ground so you can hold the stick vertically - with a tripod your stick will be angled and this can make it harder to balance yourself. The non-slip, four-pronged base also helps when crossing slippery surfaces. There are other small advantages to the SureWalk too - it can stand up by itself, so rather than lean it against a table and then watch as it slides away and falls to the ground, it can just stay standing upright and ready for when you wish to get up and leave. It also folds down into its three separate sections which means it can be packed away more easily - perfect if you wish to take a walking stick on holiday, but do not need it all the time. There’s no excuse for avoiding some fresh air and healthy outdoor exercise this year - SureWalk has your back, and your feet!
