CareCo celebrates new accreditation

We have been named a Disability Confident Employer. The Level 2 accreditation has been issued from 22/10/2024 until 19/10/2027. CareCo want the team to know that they are supported from the recruitment process and throughout their career with CareCo.

Jane Bunting, Head of HR at CareCo says, "This accreditation is something that we've taken seriously, because we have a duty of care not only to our customers, but also to our amazing team that support the success of the business. We deal with people every day across our stores with either disability and mobility needs, and we want to ensure that our staff with disability needs are just as looked after as we want our customers to be.

Disability is a spectrum, and it could happen to any one of us at any time, and if someone acquires an unexpected long-term health condition or disability whilst working with us then we want them to feel confident that they will have the support they need as a part of our team.
