Don’t let anything get in the way of your sense of adventure. The Fellman Chaser 100 is a CareCo exclusive, developed in partnership with Pride Mobility and kitted out with everything you need for off-road travel.
Based on the Pride Ranger, an AMP Mobility Product of the Year Winner, the Fellman Chaser 100 Mobility Scooter is for those who don’t want to be restricted to roads and pavements. Chunky 14.5x6’’ pneumatic tyres are paired with enhanced front and rear suspension for the smoothest off-road experience, with a pillow-topped captain’s seat to keep you comfortable as you ride.
Simply put, this is the best mobility scooter for off-road enthusiasts. Twin 2400w motors provide a total of 6HP, so you can tackle long grass, steep hills and uneven terrain with ease. For extra reassurance you’ll find dual hydraulic brakes on the wheels with a brake lever on the handlebars, as well as a reversing sensor on the rear of the scooter. Enjoy full visibility with a complete LED lighting kit and keep an eye on your mileage, outside temperature and the time with the LED display.
The Fellman Chaser is fitted with 100Ah batteries for a maximum 35-mile range. But these aren’t just any batteries. With 1500 cycles they’ll last twice as long as standard scooter batteries, with a quicker charging time to keep you on the road for longer. Pure lead carbon protects the cells of the batteries from sulphation-induced power failure, guaranteeing high performance come wind, rain or shine.
This is a big scooter, but we’ve thought of the little things too. Easily accessible anchor points let you secure the scooter for transportation. There’s a docking device at the rear of the seat for extra attachments, like baskets and cane holders, and there’s a compartment just under the tiller bar for keeping gadgets and other bits and pieces close to hand.
If you plan to drive your mobility scooter on the road you must register it with the DVLA by completing a V55 form. Advice on completing the form can be found here: how to fill out a V55 form.
