Extend the warranty on your mobility scooter, wheelchair, walking aid, powerchair or bath lift, and enjoy the same protection that comes with your manufacturer’s warranty for up to four more years (depending on the product).

How a CareCo Extended Warranty works

We offer the option to extend the warranty on our products because we know how important they are to you and your quality of life.

Our Extended Warranties cover you for the same things as the manufacturer’s warranty, with your policy starting the day your manufacturer’s warranty ends (12 months from the day of purchase).  

It helps you to enjoy the feeling of total peace of mind that comes with a brand new purchase, for up to four more years (depending on your product).

What does an Extended Warranty cover?

What's covered

Depending on your product, you’ll be covered for things like:

  • Manufacturing faults
  • Mechanical faults
  • Electrical faults
  • Faulty handsets and chargers
  • Engineer visits
  • Collection for repair (and return back to you)

What’s not covered

It depends on your product, but generally an Extended Warranty won’t cover things like:

  • General wear and tear
  • Consumables (for example, tyres and batteries)
  • Accidental damage
  • Water damage

CareCo will not be responsible for any costs incurred through remedial action carried out by unauthorised representatives.

How can I purchase an Extended Warranty?

To purchase an Extended Warranty for your mobility scooter, powerchair, wheelchair, walking aid or bath lift, give our team a call on 0333 015 5000 or pop into one of our nationwide showrooms. All you need is the details of your product and when it was purchased, and we’ll do the rest.


Which products can I buy an Extended Warranty for?

Our Extended Warranties can be purchased for mobility scooters (up to 4 years), powerchairs (up to 4 years), wheelchairs (up to 3 years), walking aids (up to 2 years) and bath lifts (up to 2 years).


Is an Extended Warranty the same as an insurance policy?

No. An insurance policy offers extra protection for things like accidental damage, breakdowns, theft and vandalism. We recommend taking out an insurance policy on eligible products, to ensure you are completely covered should anything go wrong. What if the manufacturer’s warranty on my product has already expired?

All CareCo products come with a 12-month manufacturer’s warranty as standard. Our Extended Warranties are designed to begin when the manufacturer’s warranty has expired (one year from the date your product was delivered). If you find that your product warranty has expired, we may still be able to help. Just give us a call on 0333 015 5000 to speak to a member of our team.


Do you offer service plans?

We offer service plans on mobility scooters and powerchairs, starting from £199. A service plan includes a 6-month product inspection and annual service performed by a trained technician. One-off services are also available.
