Heavy Duty Rollators

These extra large rollators are built from high quality steel and come with additional padding and high quality brakes to ensure a safe and steady walk. The X-Treme Suspension Rollator, which has the highest maximum user weight rating of 32 stone, includes rear suspension and larger wheels for additional comfort.

Our heavy duty rollators are built for users who need a more robust frame and a higher weight capacity. They offer the same benefits as a standard rollator, with wider seats, stronger frames and higher maximum user weights, often up to 200kg or more. Everything else you'd expect is still here: hand brakes, a seat, storage and full height adjustment.

Heavy Duty Rollator FAQs

  • What weight capacity do heavy duty rollators support?

It varies by model, but most heavy duty rollators in our range support users between 150kg and 225kg. The maximum user weight is always listed on the product page under specifications, so it's worth checking before you order. If you need a standard-capacity model, browse our full rollators range.
  • Are heavy duty rollators much larger than standard ones?

They tend to be slightly wider and heavier, but most are still foldable and designed to fit in a car boot. If storage space or transport is a concern, check the folded dimensions on the product page before purchasing.
  • Is there a heavy duty wheelchair option too?

Yes. If you need a wheelchair rather than a walking aid, our bariatric wheelchairs are built to the same principle, with wider seats and stronger frames for higher user weights. Both transit and self-propelled options are available.
  • Are heavy duty rollators available with VAT relief?

Yes. Customers with a qualifying long-term illness or disability can buy VAT-free. Find out more about VAT relief.
