Product Overview
Riser recliner chairs are connected to your mains power supply, which means a power outage or other power failure could leave your chair stuck in an unusable position, or leave you stranded in a position from which you cannot get up without assistance.
Our Safety Battery Backup power supply offers extra reassurance. When fitted with two 9V battery (batteries are not included), this backup power supply means you can still operate your riser recliner in the event of a power cut. Simply connect the Safety Battery Backup to your riser recliner to return the chair to a seated position or to raise the recliner to a safe standing position. This device replaces the transformer that comes with your chair.
Please note, the batteries are only intended to power the chair enough for a single movement, to either seated position with footrest down, or lift to standing position. Once you are safetly out of your chair following a power failure, you should replace the batteries with fresh ones.
