Best purchase everI bought this recliner/riser for my mum and it works a treat. My mum suffers from arthritis in one knee and it was difficult for her to sit down and then stand up but with is sofa she is able to do both. The installation was easy only took 10 minutes. Just what was needed..Very well made chair that fitted requirements of elderly mum. The two motors give a great range of positions. Quality excellent at the price. Taking mum a while to get used to controls which maybe could be a bit clearer or the buttons larger but she's managing. Purchased the Pebble colour material which is greyer than it appeared on website but not an issue. Overall a good chair which fit the space available.Strengths Good range of positions. Well constructed and easy to put together.Weaknesses Controls a little unclear.

Now I can move from chair to walker unaided.I now realize that my thinking was wrong, I needed this MaxiComfort cloud chair last year, but had a problem understanding how it would enable me to transfer from a chair to my walker without assistance. Now I have used it I have trust in it and no longer have to take a risk of a fall when transfer from sitting to standing and walking with my walker. Many thanks, Careco.Strengths Saves my wife / carer a job and gives me a bit more freedom.Weaknesses None yet.
