I bought this for my mum as she could get in the bath but it was a struggle for her to sit down as her bath is quite deep.
She found this really easy as the buttons are large and just up and down.
The chair is stuck on quite firmly so it stays in the bath. When my sister gets in who has learning difficulties I just said run the bath as normal and get in. Just imagine the chair isn't in the bath but make sure the seat is back.
Strengths
Very easy to use the handset
Weaknesses
Has to stay in the bath. This might only be because mum can't lift it out herself as she is 85

The bathlift has made a diiference.
I'd been thinking we needed to look into getting something to help with bathing for my husband. We visited the showroom and received helpful, friendly advice and demonstration of several models before deciding on which one was suitable for us. We're happy with how it works.

How lovely to go back to having a bath
I am so pleased that I took the decision to have a bath lift.
It is so straightforward to use. I am always pleased with everything I have purchased from Careco, and have recommended them on many occasions.
Strengths
The bath lift is excellent and so lovely to relax in the warm water, so different than a shower, and so safe
Weaknesses
Absolutely no weaknesses

Does the Job nicely
Bought this bath lift for a double ended roll top bath. The lift is a good size and fits well although I did remove one of the side flaps as it was catching on the centre mounted mixer tap. The recliner feature is great so you can have a relaxed good soak without your legs being bunched up.. I did fit the additional suction pads as my bath has a centre waste outlet and the bath base is not flat in this area. So I need to lift the lift slightly to fit the plug in the waste but this is not a problem. Overall this is a good solution to bathing in an existing bath.
Strengths
Well made and sturdy lift. Seat and back good size and comfortable.
Weaknesses
A little slow in operation and suction pads could do with being larger for additional fixing to the base of the bath.
