Hi there My dad has been taken for dialysis by the hospital transport service They`ve used two different sized chairs. One was quite compact and the other was slightly wider. Would this fit into an ambulance?

Thank you for your enquiry. The CareCo Fold and Go has a weight of 9.3kg when fully assembled and a carry weight of 8.5kg when broken down. This wheelchair is very compact when folded down meaning it will fit in most car boots. The folded dimensions are: Width: 29cm, Length: 29cm and Height: 77cm. I would suggest measuring your boot to make sure that it can fit these dimensions.

The folded width for this product would be 11 inches. The depth and length would stay the same - unless of course you remove the footrests. The footrests are very easy to take off and the wheelchair is very good for transportation
