I can see that it has brakes operated by the pusher, but does it also have brakes operated by the seated user? If so, where in relation to the rear wheels and seat are the brake levers? I cannot spot them on the images!

Yes, the wheelchair is equipped with a left and right hand brake. To apply the hand brake, push the brake lever forwards. To release the hand brake, pull the brake lever backwards.
