Can you tell me the width of chair with self propelled wheels on and off,
My wife has MS and sometimes I have to move her about both inside and outside so this item or similar would fit us both when she cant propel herself. Thanks

Thank you for your enquiry. The width of the CareCo Evolution with wheels attached is 63cm. With the wheels removed the width of the wheelchair is 58cm.

Hi there Vivienne,Many of our wheelchairs have aluminium frames, which make them very light. For example this wheelchair (the CareCo evolution) has an aluminium frame, which means you can assume the frame is much lighter than others. Many of the wheelchairs on our site state they are lightweight. If they do not say this, then just take a quick look in the description to see if the frame is aluminium, if it is then it will be light to carry/ lift.Thank you for your question.

Hi there Paul,The wheelchair weighs approximately 14.5kg. You could visit a showroom to view it, I would say the Brentwood showroom is closest to you and they have that particular wheelchair on display as well as many others.Thank you for asking this question.

Yes, this wheelchair has a folding back and quick release wheels to easily transport into the back of a car boot.

The folded dimensions of the Evolution Wheelchair is 71cm x 32.5cm x 68cm, or 28 x 13 x 27 inch.
can the handles be raised
I require higher handles but with brakes for the pusher to operate

The handles are 36inches high and do have brakes on the handles.

I read all tyres on the Evolution are solid tyres, hoping this includes the self propelled tyres ?
