Yes, it is a separate cushion. You can order it with or without the lumbar support.
Please can you tell me do the legs unscrew and come off?
Can you please tell me what the height is from the floor to the top off the cushion in inches if possible please ?

Yes the legs do come off and are attached via screws. The height of the seat including cushion is 20 inches.
