- Verified BuyerOff to a good start!I struggle with chronic pain and fatigue (as well as a few other issues) and have found that using a cane/crutches isn't doing enough to support me anymore, so bit the bullet and decided to look into a wheelchair.
Took it out for a test spin the day it arrived and was surprised that getting around could be so easy! It has been many years since I could go out grocery shopping and not feel insanely drained and sore afterwards!
Had no problem pushing myself around (though some surfaces are easier than others, I've learned) and my partner was also able to push me around with ease, a far cry from the supermarket-supplied wheelchairs I've been relying on for the last 6 months!
Also the back is low without being too low, which is good for support if that's something you need.
The chair is extremely comfortable, and I had minimal discomfort sitting for a long period of time, which is something I often struggle with too. The footrests can be removed too, which will make it much easier to use if I need it around the house.
The only drawbacks I found were that the leg straps were uncomfortable, but are easily removed and are not a necessity for me anyway. In addition, the handles were in a slightly awkward place which meant the backs of my arms often bumped against them. If there is a way to lower these slightly, please let me know!

Brakes need a bit of force to use, solved by removing wheel and using an allen key to slide the brake mechanism backwards about 1/4 inch.

A day out with my youngest (adult) son on his recent birthday proved to be the catalyst, as my difficulty in walking always restricts what we can do on such occasions. The wheelchair made the whole day very enjoyable leaving me thinking that I should have acquired one long ago. It fitted nicely into the boot of my 41-year-old Rolls Royce and was light and so easy to fold and to lift in and out as required. As for the ride, the chair was easy to get in and out of and ran smoothly making easy work for my son on the occasions when I needed him to propel me.
