Mobility scooter alarmI purchased this alarm when I brought a frontier scooter. I liked the idea of the added security when leaving my scooters outside shops. It is recommended that it is to be (fitted) secured under the seat, unfortunately, the frontier doesn't allow for this. Therefore I am unable to make use of the alarm.Strengths Good alarm operated with a handy keyring fob.Weaknesses Can't be secured to my scooter.

Smaller than the previous model: therefore more easily hidden.I've been waiting for this product for ages, at last it arrived. It's smaller than the previous model and thefore more easily hidden. The trouble is where to put it.
My first alarm was fitted by the Careco man under a mudguard: it didn't last long and was knocked off in such a way it nearly caused an accident. The second was put under the seat by another Careco man, but in such a way that when it stopped functioning, I had no idea that all it needed was a change of battery: it had to be cut off to replace battery, meanwhile I had ordered a new one!Strengths I feel my scooter is perfectly safe left outside a shop, etc. The warning sound is a great idea, it is sufficient to deter children from fiddling with the scooter. The alarm is loud enough to hear from inside shop, etc.Weaknesses Please teach your engineers where and how to fit this! Please include extra black ties so that if it has to be removed to fit battery, you can tie it on again without fuss. 3/5 for fitting problems. Make sure the sensitivity is set so that the alarm does not go off with every gust of wind. -
Peace of mind.Brought this recently as just got a scooter. This will give peace of mind when left anywhere. Good security for nights as well and was helped setting it up. Well done.Strengths Loud enough for anyone to hear. Easy to use.Weaknesses Not found any.
