A CHANGE FOR THE BETTERI bought this model, because it had all round suspension and pneumatic tyres on all wheels.
It’s well overdue to see pneumatic tyres back again for medium scooters, because let’s face it some pavements can be a real problem, unless you slow right down.
This is a high spec machine, with a quality feel and certainly looks the part.
A word about the suspension, the design obviously has to cope with a person of maximent weight capacity.
The result is that much lighter persons, like myself, do no get anything like the full benefits.
A smart move in the future would be adjustable or more custom springing to be made available.
Regarding CareCo generally, I found them First Class, and that includes dealing with queries.

Pinnacle X-Go scooterWe needed a scooter for our son who's quite a big lad. We also needed to be able to put it in a car.
Best scooter ticks all the boxes! It breaks down into manageable pieces so we can transport it. Our son absolutely loves it as it's very maneuverable and very comfortable. Definitely one of the best things we've bought. It makes the difference between being housebound and the ability to go where he likes independently.Strengths Size, construction.Weaknesses None -
Xgo pinnacle scooterThis scooter is excellent I love it!! All round suspension and pneumatic tyres making it a very comfortable ride. Feels strong and safe, been over a few bumps and felt very safe on it. Absolutely recommend this scooter, although a bit heavy to lift into car, my husband says, but it has given me a new found freedom!!Strengths Feels strong and safe and very easy to useWeaknesses None that I can find at the moment

Thinking things throughI bought the X GO Pinnacle Scooter at the Care co showroom in Leeds 3 weeks ago and was given every help by Laura the sales person. The delivery went very smoothly and I charged the scooter up. It is a beautiful machine but it is a pavement scooter and on trying it out I find that the pavements around my home are very unsuitable for driving a scooter on. It was a nightmare.Maybe it is because I have driven on the road for the past 60+ years. So although I think that the Pinnacle is a very good scooter it is not for me and I am now awaiting delivery of an Abilize Kondor cabin scooter that I can drive on the road. Care co have made this process very straightforward for me.I will give an updated review when I try the Kondor.Strengths Comfortable and easily drivenWeaknesses For me the fact that it is a pavement scooter.

A two-scooter family!A few months ago I bought a Li-Tech Neon 30. I love it. It's light and nifty, easy to transport and has a great range. But we like going round nature reserves, gardens and archeological sites, and the scooter does struggle a bit with deep gravel, large tree roots across paths etc. (Hills aren't a problem, it's the nature of the ground under the wheels.). Obviously it wasn't designed for that.
I decided to see if there was another scooter with a bit more off-road capability, while still being small enough to dismantle and go into the back of our small car. So we went back to the shop and bought a Pinnacle!
I'm very pleased with it. It has larger wheels, it's comfortable and, over mildly rough terrain, it deals with the ground better. I feel not only more comfortable but more safe. It's a good compromise.
I should say that I am choosing to use both scooters to do things they weren't designed to do - they're both meant to be driven on pavements!
I've now got two scooters, one for nipping around on pavements and the other for areas that are a bit more challenging.
Looking back at the whole experience, there's one thing I didn't factor-into this whole thing. I didn't know how what a palaver it would be to travel by train with a scooter, even a small one - getting certification, notifying the train company ahead of travel etc etc. If I'd known this I think I might have bought a folding scooter instead of the Li-Tech. You live and learn.
On both occasions I was served by Ben (I hope I've remembered his name). He couldn't have been more helpful. In fact, prior to buying tge Pinnacle, we looked round the showrooom, didn't think there was anything to fit the bill and were about to go home, but then Ben gave us a bit more information leading to this happy purchase.Strengths Larger wheels and wider frame give a feeling of stability and safety over slightly rougher ground, e.g. gravel paths round nature reserves. Still jyst about small enough to dismantle and go into a car.Weaknesses A bigger vehicle with full suspension would be even better on rough ground, but it wouldn't go into our small car! Realistically one has to accept a compromise, and I'm very happy with that.
