walking comfortably at last!
Taken me 2 years to be persuaded to use something like the tuni spectra after experiencing balance problems after being diagnosed with Ramsey Hunt syndrome
i found walking with a stick tiring, back problems and fear of falling
Now with the tuni i feel safe and more confident. i can manage shopping as it has a roomy bag and i actually feel as if i am getting some excercise
i am walking better and people say i’m more upright
Strengths
Easy to fold for storage, pedal to help lift up over steps
Weaknesses
none

Tuni Spectra wheely walker/seat
I bought one last month and have now road tested it over lots of ground types. I have to push down on the wheely walker to take weight off of my lowerback, pelvis and legs so this has been a fairly tough test of it.
It is easily adjusted and folded and is fairly light, can be lifted one handed horizontal when folded, to fit most mid size car boots. Great on smooth ground but is difficult to use on cobbles/rough ground when going forward. If you push from the front of walker backwards on cobbles, the front castor wheels now trailing behave themselves. Steep slopes are best negotiated by reversing yourself and walker, as is going down steps backwards.
Strengths
Folds easily, Fairly light, Sturdy on flat ground.
Weaknesses
Front wheels are too small on rough ground.

Wasn’t what I expected
First of all this product looks flimsy in the picture … I didn’t expect it to be sturdy and wider which was a relief as I needed a Walker with a seat on it as I can’t walk far… also my posture has been straight and relaxed … not bending over like the 3 wheel Walker I had sore hands and back …
This product is still wee bit heavy but it’s still easier for myself to take in and out my car for doctor n hospital appointments…
Strengths
Easy to fold up and down .. folds like a buggy ..the bag is a good size for a little shop ie: milk bread eggs !!!
This comes with a travel bag which is amazing as I want to try go a holiday next year so will be easy to take on plane I hope ?.
Weaknesses
I myself have not found any fault with this product …
