Thanks to its aluminium frame, the Glider weighs in at just 5.7kg (13lb). This, combined with a simple folding mechanism that collapses it almost flat, makes this a walking aid that you can take with you anywhere. It’s ideal for folding and popping into the back of the car, or to stow on public transport. But portability doesn't mean fragility – the Glider can support users weighing up to 110kg (17st 5lb).
Safety and comfort for worry-free walking
You can immediately see how much thought and attention went into the design of the Glider. Around half of all over-65s are afflicted with arthritis to some extent, and the Glider was made with this fact firmly in mind. The ergonomic handles allow you to operate it without putting pressure on your wrists, while loop brake controls replace the usual levers, as they are easier to operate for arthritic fingers.
