Confidently under control
The midwheel drive setup of the X-Go Tourister gives it a unique benefit: the ability to turn almost on the spot. For nimbleness in narrow spaces and busy town centres, you simply can’t beat it. Front and rear wheels keep you stable, with thoughtful everyday features like swingaway armrests, front and rear lights, and a USB charging port included for more confident, comfortable journeys. There's even two shroud colours in the box – Grey and Tan – so you can switch up the look of your powerchair when you fancy.

Midwheel manoeuvrability
The midwheel drive design of the X-Go Tourister turns within a much smaller footprint. It makes those tricky moves – navigating hallways, moving around in the kitchen or getting closer to a table – a whole lot easier to pull off.
Brilliantly balanced
The front and rear wheels work in tandem with the midwheel drive to keep the Tourister stable, even outdoors. Paired with the padded seat and backrest, this design is clever, easy to control, and plenty comfortable. It is recommended to wear a universal seat belt when using this outdoors to encourage correct seating posture, which improves handling and safety.
Cleverly convenient
The Tourister is packed with thoughtful features. The frame quickly disassembles into three smaller, lighter parts for easier transport and storage, there’s a USB port on the armrest to charge your phone, and the underseat basket pops out for shopping trips.

What’s in the box?

Manual

Charger
Your charger is included, so you can get out and about right away.

Joystick
This can be attached to either the right or left armrest of your powerchair depending on your needs.
Why choose the X-Go Tourister Powerchair over a mobility scooter?
The Tourister is controlled by a simple 4-button joystick rather than a tiller bar, which can be easier if grip or shoulder movement is limited. It turns more tightly than a scooter, too, which makes it ideal in indoor spaces like hallways and kitchens.
Is the Tourister difficult to drive if I’ve never used a powerchair before?
Nope! The joystick control is simple and responsive, and the midwheel drive base moves the chair in a predictable, easy to control way.
Is midwheel drive better than rear wheel drive?
Not better, per se – it comes down to where you’ll mostly use your powerchair. The midwheel drive of the Tourister gives it a small turning circle (just a 545mm radius), which serves it particularly well indoors. Rear wheel drive powerchairs perform better outdoors, particularly on inclines.
Can I use the X-Go Tourister outdoors?
Yes, the Tourister can be used on gentle outdoor terrain – the 6-wheel base gives it the stability you need for pavement travel.
