- Perfect for outdoorsNeeded to replace my last wheelchair that had lasted 16/17yrs. This chair sits at the right height with wide seat and deep enough for my back and legs to feel comfortable. My husband who is 6ft 1inch says the handles are the right height for him to push me without having to bend .The seat and back rest are slightly padded so a cushion to sit on may be required for longer days out to make it more comfortable. Slight down side no choice in armrest width/length and brake handles are very close to the frame work and would benefit from having extension handles fitted for person pushing chair to reach easier.Strengths Strong frame work, seat height and hopefully durabilityWeaknesses Could do with a back brace bar fixed handle to handle to strengthen across back, a choice to have wider/longer arm rests and also brake handle extensions if wanted.
- Comfortable and robustI bought this wheelchair to help me during longer days out, where my other mobility aids become uncomfortable after a short time. This wheelchair is much more comfortable and robust, allowing us to use it around the supermarket and off road along coastal paths and rougher terrain with ease. I wish we had bought this chair much sooner as it's made going out a lot easier for me. I do have to say, I cannot self propel so we use as a transit/attendant type chair, so I cannot speak to how easy it is to self propel over rough ground if you are not being pushed.Strengths Comfortable and can handle most terrain with easeWeaknesses No attendant breaks
