So much better for my husbandI bought this power chair because my husband was beginning to struggle with the weight of my scooter. This chair is lighter and more versatile than the scooter. It also takes up less room in the boot.It's taken a bit of time to get used to it but I am starting to feel at ease with it. You do need a bag for thee back as the "on board" bag is very small and very hard to get at so I can am using it to house the tool kit which came with it. All in all I am very pleased with it.Strengths Much lighter and less awkward than my scooter for loading and unloading from the car.Weaknesses The little inaccessible bag underneath.

Stratus PowerchairBeen researching for a few weeks and settled on the Stratus
Nice power chair, good looking chair easy to use and should make life a lot easier for me

Good and sturdy not like some of them and I managed to get it in the sale as well that was a bonusStrengths Looks good nice grey colour not old fashionedWeaknesses 19kg still a bit heavy for a woman to lift, shame they do t make one for under say 12 stone altar light and same with the price -
I can get out now , FREEDOMWe travelled from Wales to Chester to browse at Powerchairs and we ended up buying one after trying a few out for size weight comfort and foldable for a small car boot, we had a great laugh and chat with the ladies and a cup of tea n coffee WITH a lovely Border Biscuit while doing the paperwork, we're going back to buy some other bits needed for wet weather so the Voucher will come handy for our next purchase,Strengths Great strong and lightweightWeaknesses Not fast enough to keep up with hubby and the dog walking

A good buyI am pleased with this Powerchair, more so because I bought it in the last few hours of a sale so it is now quite substantially more expensive. I had tried on from a different source previously and it was difficult to move around in small spaces, the Stratus is much easier although if you try to move sideways without any forward input at all it can be a bit sticky. Not a huge problem though.
My compliments to the CareCo staff who assisted me, this is not the first major item that I have bought from them and they are always polite and helpful.Strengths Compact, reasonably light and moves very controllably.Weaknesses None particularly save the very slightly sticky sideways movement mentioned above.
