Verified BuyerDelighted with my new Stratus Powerchair.Fortunately I was at home when the delivery driver called with my package, so he very obigingly took it exactly where I wanted. The hardest thing about the initiial unpackaging was getting the powerchair out of its box; it sat there so tight. After that, the assembly was very easy.
I was very impressed by the finish- no rough edges anywhere- and setting up was very easy.
I spent the first hour of use practising in the adjacent car park, I recommend this to all new users, since there is a necessary learning curve. After that , there was no stopping me, and I have been delighted with my new machine ever since. I Should have got one earlier! It has opened up my social world again.Strengths It does everything it says on the tin! The toolkit supplied is of amazing quality.! !Weaknesses Make sure you have practiced crossing bevelled slopes before you encounter them for real. -
I have my independence back!I needed something that I could use when I was out and about when my mobility is poor. This power chair means I can still go along on walks and days out with friends and family, and I can keep up with everyone. I also wanted something I could use independently, rather than being pushed by someone. This is just the chair for the job. It sturdier than i thought it would be, and I feel safe.Strengths Very simple to use, straightforward and no fussWeaknesses I have people around me to put the chair in and out of the car. If I had to do it on my own I'm not sure how easy I would find it.

Excellent lightweight solution!I have had my Stratus power chair for three weeks now and it is brilliant! Easy for my carer to get in and out of the car. I would recommend purchasing a cushion if you are using it for a while as it adds to your comfort. Use speed one when inside and then try speed three when out and about. Drop kerbs are generally ok but avoid anything too high. Really great turning circle! I have purchased a bag for the back too which is useful for carry a waterproof ponchos.Strengths Turning circle is good. Lightweight and easy to transport.Weaknesses Not waterproof but you can solve this with a poncho.

Verified BuyerExcellent wheelchair.I decided to purchase the Stratus after spraining my shoulder using my self propelled manual chair.
It's fabulous. Comfortable, responsive, easy to fold and store. The battery can be charged on or off the chair which means you don't need to take tge whole chair to the power socket.
I can easily lift the Stratus and put it in the car. Takes up less space than the manual chair.Strengths Easy to fold and store in the car boot.Weaknesses Not found any yet. -
Life changingI got my stratus chair around 3 months ago and have just returned from my first international holiday with it and it’s been such a life changing thing.
The battery lasted great and was so easy to change to a spare when it ran low.
It was an absolute breeze to fly with. I added some luggage straps around for extra security and removed the battery and joy stick.
I can truly say that I feel that this amazing chair has allowed me to reclaim my life and feel that I can do the things I used to enjoy again.Strengths Lightweight, foldable, easy to manoeuvre and a good speed.Weaknesses Rubber around the controls panel is easily stripped.
