After a lot of persuasion by my wife I purchased the Minimus with a reluctance to actually ride it. My osteoarthritis and COPD were making walking more difficult but I didn't feel ready for a mobility scooter just yet. It arrived and was very eay to assemble and I rode it around the house for the trial run. It was easy to manoeuvre and got me from one room to another much quicker and with less pain than before. Our first outing on the streets was even better. I towed it behind me like a suitcase until I felt tired where I would have previously sat and rested. Instead we unfolded the scooter and continued our walk. Once rested it was easy to re-fold and tow behind again, We completed a much longer outing with less stress and strain
Strengths
Easy to fold and unfold. Reasonably lightweight for lifting to car boot. Easy to tow behind like a suitcase on wheels

Marvellous Minimus!
I bought my Lime Green Minimus about three weeks ago - and wish I had bought one sooner. The sense of freedom it has given me is immense.
I've had arthritis a long time and it is now badly affecting my knees; it did not take much encouragement from my two sons to go out and buy a mobility scooter. I am otherwise fairly fit, but needed something for supermarket shopping, longer walks and visiting my sons using public transport here in the UK and in Spain. I wanted something that folds easily, can be pulled along like a suitcase and can fit into the boot of a car or into the hold of a plane.
The Minimus has it all - and by the way, excellent staff at CareCo in Ipswich who let me try it out until I knew I had made the right choice.
Strengths
Good looks; sophisticated design; easy to fold and unfold; easy to recharge; very portable; great on the straight and for manoeuvring in tight corners.
Weaknesses
The seat is a little bit hard, but I have overcome this discomfort by wearing padded cycle shorts under my jeans.

The best compact mobility scooter..
I bought the minimus scooter four weeks ago.
What drew me to this one was the compact size when folded down, the ease of folding or putting it up and most of all the weight.
My husband can pick this one up and put it in the boot easily.
A couple of others I looked at were too heavy.
The down side is it only does 6 miles, I’d have ideally liked one that did double that.
But the one that did do the extra mileage was too heavy.
Also for the price I think the basket and arms should be included and not sold separately.
Bit if you’re looking for a compact scooter that’s transported easily then this is ideal.

Transformation
I bought this last month and wish I had bought one earlier. This is easy to use, lightweight which means my wife does not have any difficulty in lifting it into the car boot, totally foldable and has a good range.
Strengths
Folds up really compactly, lightweight, good range
Weaknesses
Pity arms and bags are extras and don't come as part of the package.

Big help!!
Purchased last month. Excellent item, responsive, quiet, folding size perfect holds charge well especially if not used daily. Also very comfortable ride! Only gripe would be for the price think the seat arms should come as standard not £99•99 extra.
