EXCELLENT - BUT COULD BE BETTERThis is the supportive, comfortable chair that I wanted (and very good quality). I have had it for just over two weeks and am very pleased with it (and can recommend it). That said, I would always suggest trying it out in a showroom to make sure that it is comfortable for you. I did this, so no surprises. I do have two comments that mean it gets 4 stars rather than 5.
1. It was delivered by DPD. They have no idea how to deliver furniture through a door, so it was left on the pavement for me to sort out myself. I am 75 with a bad back but managed it through the door, on my own, even with the packaging still on! Deliveries need to be more professional than this - especially for the target client base of Care Co who should consider who they use to deliver.
2. This is NOT what I would call a high back chair. I am just 6' tall, but cannot lean my head back to doze in the chair. The back is not high enough. The seat cushion depth is fine however, supports my whole thigh. However, the seat is too deep for my 5'3" wife, but the back is plenty high enough for her! They could do with two models of this chair: one with the existing seat depth but a higher back and another with the existing back height but a reduced seat cushion depth.Strengths Build quality and general comfort.Weaknesses 1. As others have mentioned, the allen key could be better suited to the location of the bolts as the legs obstruct the access., especially to et the bolts started without getting cross threads. 2. Height of chair back, cannot rest my head. 3. Delivery firm used. -
A very nice, comfortable chair...A very nice, well-made, comfortable chair.
Sometimes, it may not be the chair that is perfectly suitable - but this does not tale away from it's quality. So, I would recommend it to anyone.Strengths very well made, nice design, good for postureWeaknesses The arms could do with being slightly longer -
Sitting Comfortably...Basically it does exactly what it says on the tin - looks attractive and is sturdy, comfortable and lumbar supportive. Assembly was a bit of a chore, the front legs would have benefitted from a different design or a longer allen key. The assembly instructions came to light during clear-up, and were almost thrown out with the mountains of excessive advertising rubbish!! KembleBit heavy to bring into the house, good we had wide doors. Quite simple to assemble. Not brilliantly comfortable but gives excellent posture. Is right height and easy to get up from because of arms. Looks good in the lounge.Strengths Good to look at, gives supportWeaknesses None

The only chair you will ever need.Ive never had a fireside chair before and thanks to this chair, I will always have a fireside chair from now on. It is a little tall for me, as my feet dont touch the floor when I sit right back. However, this and the fear of staining the pale fabric are the only negatives I have. The seat is firm yet soft, the armrests are perfect and the back offers alot of support. I will have to get a pillow for my head, so I dont strain my neck but overall, this is the only chair I want from now on.Strengths Soft yet resilient fabric and strong legs/feetWeaknesses Im 5 foot 5 and my feet were hovering over the floor when I sit right back.
