It's great, small house so nowhere for a cycle. However it does slip, any ideas for securing it?

Good overall, but probably not for serious exercise.
I've had knee pain for the last 7 months that has just been diagnosed as arthritis. I needed something to keep my knees moving in a non-weightbearing way until I can get back on my bike, and also to allow me to keep exercising indoors in bad weather as part of my physio plan.
As others have said, this unit is well- built and simple to set up.
Overall I'd probably have been better off with a static bike, but I couldn't afford one and don't have the room, so with a bit of modification, this is a do-able and affordable compromise. Just don't expect to ride the virtual Tour de France on it!
Strengths
Pro...
1. Solidly built
2. Digital readout let's you see progress
3. Doesn't take up much space in storage
Weaknesses
Con...
1. If you are a vigorous exerciser, it will rock from side to side even if you attach it to your chair with a strap and use a non-slip mat. I wedge it against the wall so I can keep it pressing against something solid as I pedal but it can lift up and down if you are a strong peddler.
2. The pedal shafts wil get hot enough to burn. Do not touch them for 10 minutes after using if you need to move it.
3. The pedal loops are tiny and my size 7 shoes only just fit. I flip the pedals over and use the other side without the loops.
4. My readout often freezes. I was aiming to do 1500 reps and it stopped at 1300. I probably did double until I noticed . I pressed the function button and it worked again.
5. You can't reset the readout to 0 so you have to remember where you left off last time if you're counting reps and calories etc. and you can't turn it off although it does auto off after a couple of minutes.
6. It's designed to use in a fairly relaxed sitting position, almost like a recumbent bike. If you want to mimic a bike position you'll need to sit on a high stool or a dining chair with a thick cushion on it and enough room under it for the legs of the exerciser to go under or you'll knock your heels against the chair. Just make sure it's stable.

This is really helpful.
I bought this for my wife who has poor circulation in her legs. She has been using it now for about 10 days and her legs are not so painful when out walking now. The exerciser is really easy for her to use with the adjustable setting and can be used anywhere in the house. This is very easy to assemble and use and was easy to order on the website. It arrived when promised and in good condition.
Strengths
Easy to assemble and use.
Weaknesses
The digital display is very small and hard to read if you have poor eyesight.
