- Verified BuyerUseful aidThis device has a slim shoehorn at one end and a double hook at the other. The shoehorn is particularly useful as I have small feet and the hospital-issue one is a bit cumbersome. The two-sided hook, with a bit of practice, can assist in pulling up trousers, which is really why I ordered it. It would be even more useful if it also had a small gripper with which to pull up clothing, as things tend to slip off the hook in transit! I am using the device temporarily due to having recently had a hip replacement.Strengths Slimness of the shoehornWeaknesses I would like to have a gripper at the other end to the shoehorn, rather than a hook that trouser tops slip off.
- Verified BuyerShoe hornI purchased this item as I've had a hip replacement, this enables me to get dressed on my own.
It also helps me put my shoes on.
It really is a great little helper.
Strengths Very sturdyWeaknesses Nothing that I can think of - Verified BuyerDressing stick & sock helperBoth items arrived quickly and I am very happy with both. The narrow shoe horn on the stick is more useful than the usual wider ones
The sock helper took a bit of practice, but works fine, though when I ordered it, it was a bit of a gamble as my feet are very wide - inherited!
Happy with the purchases, well designed items
Strengths Light weight and they workWeaknesses None really, especially at the price. - Interesting gadgetBought with a view to it helping when I had my hip replacement (now postponed rather than imminent). It's remarkably useful for all sorts of things, all listed in the description, and I keep finding another one.Strengths Versatile, perhaps only limited be user's imagination and needsWeaknesses None found yet
