Description

Make no mistake this is a very big electric wheelchair well suited to the user who wants to make long journeys in comfort. The Roma Medical Lugano electric wheelchair is the big brother to the Malaga powerchair. Its driven by two 75ah batteries giving it a far greater range of 25 miles on a full battery charge. The Lugano powerchair and will carry a user up to 115Kg or 18 stones in weight at up to 4mph.

The Lugano electric wheelchair has a comfortable padded captains chair with headrest. The chair is fully adjustable in both height and angle of the seat base.The arm rests are both height and width adjustable and are padded for extra comfort on those long trips. For ease of transfer the armrests also flip away.

The 6 wheel arrangement provides optimum stability and comfort allowing this electric wheelchair to turn on the spot thanks to the central wheels which are driven by two electric motors providing great manoeuvrability.

Control is provided by the extendable VSI control unit which can be used on either armrest. All castors are puncture proof and the central wheels are pneumatic for extra comfort. The seat has a lap belt to give you that added security. To enable transportation, the Lugano power chair dismantles in to several pieces.

Will any powerchair fit into my car boot?

Most of our powerchairs are compact enough when folded to fit into a car boot. We do recommend measuring your boot against the specifications of the powerchair to be sure.

Do you do at-home demonstrations?

Unfortunately we do not offer at-home demonstrations. However, our showroom teams are more than happy to get you set up with a powerchair of your choice for a test-drive.

Can the control panel be on either side?

Yes, you can set up your powerchair with the control panel on either armrest.

Are powerchairs airplane-safe?

Yes, our batteries are dry-sealed so provided they are removed from the powerchair during transit they are fine to take on an airplane.

Can I remove the footrests on the powerchair?

Our powerchairs have removable or flip-up footrests for increased accessibility.
