The Vienna Electric Wheelchair is also easily transportable should you need to put it into the car boot. The seat and the battery pack are easily removed to make it more manageable. With performance in mind, the Shoprider Vienna Electric Wheelchair certainly delivers for a chair of this size. It is capable of carrying a user over 18 stones in weight up to 19 miles between charges.

With a width of only 22" overall, and a turning circle of just 31", the Shoprider Vienna is capable of manoeuvring in quite small spaces. All in all, the Vienna delivers plenty of value for money in this category of powerchair.

Will any powerchair fit into my car boot?

Most of our powerchairs are compact enough when folded to fit into a car boot. We do recommend measuring your boot against the specifications of the powerchair to be sure.

Do you do at-home demonstrations?

Unfortunately we do not offer at-home demonstrations. However, our showroom teams are more than happy to get you set up with a powerchair of your choice for a test-drive.

Can the control panel be on either side?

Yes, you can set up your powerchair with the control panel on either armrest.

Are powerchairs airplane-safe?

Yes, our batteries are dry-sealed so provided they are removed from the powerchair during transit they are fine to take on an airplane.

Can I remove the footrests on the powerchair?

Our powerchairs have removable or flip-up footrests for increased accessibility.
