A big-buttoned, amplified cordless telephone, the Amplidect 295 is a great piece of technology for the hard of hearing.
The Amplidect 295 is designed to be compatible with hearing aids set to the T setting, and it has a receiver volume of up to 30dB. The receiver volume is adjustable too, so this phone is still perfectly usable for those without hearing problems.
The shaker function and ringer volume can be tailored to your specific hearing needs. There's an integral answering machine with up to 15 minutes of recording time, as well as a remote control so you can access your messages from the comfort of your sofa.
The handset itself is well designed for the visually impaired as well as the hearing impaired. The backlit LCD display is complemented by large keys, a caller ID function, clock and useful alarm. The Amplidect 295's phone book will store up to 50 contacts, and there are redial and call-waiting buttons too.

My grandfather is specifically looking for a phone with more than 5 rings / 5 seconds until cutting to answerphone as he can never get to the phone on time Thanks

Thank you for your enquiry. The number of rings can be set from 2 to 8 in intervals of 2 (ie. 2, 4, 6 and 8). If the answer machine is turned off the phone will still ring 10 times but then will cut to a message saying that it is not possible to leave a message.
