Meet Desmond, the winner of our December draw!
Desmond bought the Optima Self Propelled Wheelchair before Christmas. He uses it indoors daily, getting from room to room, and he’s hoping it won't be long before he's able to use it outside.
The wheelchair has made him feel safer in his day to day life, he said “I chose the large wheels so I could still be independent but also be pushed as I get tired quickly”.
When we called to let Desmond know he had won he was very surprised but was extremely thankful to our team for letting him know.
