Introducing the Lightest Travel Scooter in the UK: The Li-Tech Neon

This month we launched the Li-Tech Neon, which is the lightest travel mobility scooter in the UK. It is built from a super light aluminium frame with a total weight of just 33kg. It can be quickly and easily dismantled, and the heaviest part, the front section, weighs only 9.98kg, and the rear section with motor is just 9.2kg, which makes this not only a the lightest travel scooter, but also one of the best car boot scooters on the market today.

Aluminium Frame

As well as making it extra light, the  anodised aluminium frame won't corrode in the way that steel frames do. This is especially important if you tend to use your scooter in wet conditions and then store in a damp shed or outbuilding. Anodising is also a more environmentally friendly way to finish metals.

Experience the Neon Style

The Neon comes in purple and blue. Purple is becoming a more popular colour choice for mobility scooters and it is great to see more scooter riders enjoying a ride out on their favourite purple! Both the blue and purple have a neon-metallic hint to them what makes them really stand out among the traditional red scooters.

A Comfortable Ride

Unlike many other ultra-light mobility scooters, the Neon does not scrimp on comfort. It has a large, height-adjustable well-padded seat with padded armrests that you can spend hours in a day - this chair is a good upgrade on the ones that are fitted to the award winning Li-Tech Marathon. It also comes with a good-sized basket for your shopping (or to hold one of our basket bags). The Neon also has full suspension, which takes the pain out of travelling over bumpy ground.

Go Further

The Li-Tech Neon comes in two formats: The Neon 15 has a 4.5kg lithium-ion battery that powers the scooter of a range of 15 miles, or if you tend to take longer journeys the Neon 30, which has a 5kg lithium-ion battery, will keep going for 30 miles - even further than the Marathon. Battery technology is progressing and we are able to get more miles from a lithium mobility scooter by using the best lithium-ion batteries available.
